Who I am

More than one thing,
always.

I live at the intersection of the technical and the imaginative. Whether I'm designing a mechanical system, building software, writing music, or sitting with a hard philosophical question, the same instinct drives me — to understand deeply, then create with intention.

"Shalom" means peace, completeness, wholeness. It's not just my name — it's the thread that runs through everything I make. I want the things I build to hold together, to mean something, to last.

These projects are either in motion or on the horizon. Come back often — this place grows with me.

Systems thinking

From mechanical tolerances to software architecture, I love understanding how parts relate to wholes.

Made for humans

Every project — technical or creative — is ultimately for people. Warmth and clarity are never optional.

Long-horizon thinking

I'm interested in ideas that endure. Music, theology, good design — things built to outlast the moment.

Projects & pursuits

Things I'm building.

A mix of the shipped, the in-progress, and the dreamed-of. All of it is real.

Game Design

Worlds Worth Playing In

Game design is world-building with rules. Exploring mechanics, narrative, and play as creative forms in their own right.

In development

Music

Sound & Composition

Music is how I speak when words aren't enough. Compositions, arrangements, and sonic experiments — more to share soon.

The Big Questions

Why does anything exist? What is goodness? How should we live? These aren't abstract to me — they shape everything else I make.
